The Edwards nXDS dry scroll rotary pumps provide exceptional pumping capability, ultimate vacuum performance and state-of-the-art design features, the nXDS dry scroll pump is the best performing pump in its class. 

nXDS improves on the original XDS pump technology by offering increased pumping speeds, combined with lower ultimate pressures, low power consumption and reduced noise. The gas ballast allows for pumping of condensable vapors, including water, solvents, dilute acids and bases.  nXDS pumps feature the very latest in tip seal technology, giving a significantly longer life between tip seal changes.

The nXDS model is offered in three variations: The standard version (Just "i" o n the end) , the "C" version and the "R" version. Now if you are not sure about the "C" or "R" versions, just order the standard "i"version i.e. The model part number with just the "i" on the end. Here is a summary of the "C" and "R' versions: 

nXDS-C has been modified so that it is more suitable for use on vapor handling processes and may be used in some applications involving corrosive substances. This chemically resistant version is fitted with Chemraz® internal valves and stainless steel fittings.  

nXDS-R has the gas ballast blanked off so it cannot be accidentally opened. This is useful for applications such as rare gas recirculation or gas recovery.

Edwards XDS 46i Dry Scroll Pumps

The Edwards XDS 46i shares many of the same features of the XDS35i but with a peak speed of 40 m³h^-1. The pump has been optimized for maximum pumping speed at inlet pressures between 1 mbar and 10 mbar, making it ideally suited for LCMS and ICPMS applications requiring higher pumping speeds.

Edwards nXDS Acoustic Enclosures

Edwards’ acoustic enclosures are the ideal noise reduction solution for use in a laboratory or an industrial environment. The specially designed soundproof enclosures are made of materials with high noise absorption, reducing vacuum pump noise by up to 9 dB(A), with no impact on vacuum pump efficiency. Two integrated air cooling fans provide ventilation to maintain optimum pump running temperature; this is backed by an over temperature buzzer alarm. The design of the enclosure allows for easy assembly or disassembly without complex tooling. A removable front panel enables quick visible access to the oil sight glass, and if required a side panel can be quickly removed for access to the oil filter cap (RV/EM only).These acoustical enclosures are fully compatible with all RV rotary vane pumps, E2M18/28 rotary vane pumps, and the complete range of nXDS and XDS dry scroll pumps. Edwards vibration isolator rubber feet for, RV, E1/E2M18, XDS series pumps, 4 included

Edwards Vibration Isolator rubber Feet

These vibration isolator rubber feet are used to support the bottom base of the vacuum pump and smooth out the pump vibrations. These replacement isolator vibration feet are made of rubber and come 4 to a package with mounting bolts and washers.
