Overview

Rave Scientific offers the EM-Tec Hitachi M4 stub storage box and storage tubes. These are designed for storing samples mounted on the 15mm diameter Hitachi M4 stubs. They can be used for handling, long term storage, archiving and shipping samples. Choice between a single stub storage tube and an 8 stub capacity box with insert:

• • EM-Tec SH1 single stub storage tube is ideal for storing or transporting a single Hitachi M4 stub. Protects the SEM specimen on the 15mm Hitachi stub from cross contamination. Capacity is a single Hitachi M4 stub with 15mm diameter. The stub is screwed on the M4 thread in the brown LDPE cap (base) of the clear polystyrene tub. Suitable for both the 6 and the 10mm high stubs. Maximum specimen height 25-20mm.
  • EM-Tec SH4 clear/black styrene box with storage positions for 4 x Ø15mm Hitachi M4 stubs. Made from a clear/black polystyrene box with an LDPE insert with tapered M4 compatible posts. Outside dimensions are 75 x 40 x 28 mm, 18mm clearance which leaves a maximum sample height of approx. 14 mm. The insert can be lifted out of the box to facilitate easy sample loading and removal. Low cost small Hitachi stub storage box; ideal for short term storage, archiving and handling.
  • EM-Tec SH11 clear styrene box with storage positions for 11 x Ø15mm or 8 x Ø25mm Hitachi M4 stubs. Made from a clear polystyrene box with an LDPE insert with tapered M4 compatible posts. Outside dimensions are 120 x 84 x 36mm, 17mm clearance which leaves a maximum sample height of approx. 13.5mm. The insert can be lifted out of the box to facilitate easy sample loading and removal.   • EM-Tec SSH11 super strong clear polycarbonate box with storage positions for 11 x Ø15mm or 8 x Ø25mm Hitachi stubs with M4 threaded hole. This dust and water-proof clear polycarbonate box includes two hinges, two lock, a seal and a white LDPE insert. Outside dimensions are 164 x 105 x 42mm; 17mm inside clearance, which permits a maximum sample height of 13.5mm. Full visibility of samples in this clear super strong box. Ideal for transport, shipping, harsh environments and out in the field.
  • EM-Tec SH12 clear styrene box with storage positions for 12 x Ø15mm or Hitachi M4 stubs. Made from a clear polystyrene box with an LDPE insert with M4 screws.  Outside dimensions are 100 x 69 x 38mm, 17mm clearance which leaves a maximum sample height of approx. 13.5mm.
