Rave Micro-Tec Metallographic Embedding Clips
The Rave Micro-Tec embedding clips are designed to hold thin samples for cold or hot embedding. The Micro-Tec clips hold the sample vertical and stable during embedding and curing of the resin. Ideal for embedding thin samples and cross sectioning. To be used with samples like printed circuit boards, Si chips, foils, sheets, thin batteries, paper, etc. The available embedding clips are:
- BMicro-Tec C7 stainless steel coil embedding clip, compatible with both hot and cold embedding. The stainless steel also provide support during grinding and polishing to improve edge retention. Dimensions are 7 x 120mm.
- Micro-Tec C6 PET plastic coil embedding clip , compatible with cold embedding resins. The small coil allows for multiple samples with coils in a single embedding. Dimensions are 6 x 100mm.
- Micro-Tec T1C clear PE plastic embedding T clip intended for cold embedding resins. The clear clips are hardly visible in clear embedding materials. Dimensions are 10 x 9 x 13mm.
- Micro-Tec T1W white nylon plastic embedding T clip intended for cold embedding resins. The white clips provides good contrast against dark materials. Dimensions are 10 x 9 x 13mm.
- Micro-Tec T1B black nylon plastic embedding T clip intended for cold embedding resins. The black clips provides good contrast against light-coloured materials. Dimensions are 10 x 9 x 13mm.
- Micro-Tec S5B black nylon plastic multiple embedding S clip intended for cold embedding resins. The S type clips can hold up to five thin samples. Dimensions are 20 x 10 x 8mm.
