KF / NW Vacuum Flange Connection Hardware

Overview

Rave Scientific offers EM-Tec standard KF vacuum flange hardware. These components and parts are directly compatible with all KF, NW of QF vacuum flange hardware connections.  Interchangeable designations for these standard rough and medium vacuum flange connections are: KF, DN-KF, ISO-KF, NW, ISO-NW, QF and DN.  The standard sizes offered are: 

• DN10KF (adapts to DN16KF)
• DN16KF 
• DN25KF 
• DN40KF 
• DN50KF 

Most components are offered in stainless steel. However, for adapters vacuum grade aluminum alloys are sometimes preferred.  The standard KF vacuum flange hardware is extensively used to connect vacuum components and can be found on vacuum coating systems, electron microscopes, vacuum ovens, vacuum pumps, vacuum equipment, vacuum gauges etc.

We offer: 

• EM-Tec KF flange adapters with 1/8” female NPT thread, made from vacuum grade aluminum, to connect components such as vacuum gauges, small valves and NPT connectors with 1/8” male NPT thread..
• EM-Tec KF flange adapters with 1/8” female NPT thread, made from vacuum grade AISI 304 stainless steel to connect components such as vacuum gauges, small valves and NPT connectors with 1/8” male NPT thread. .
• EM-Tec KF flange adapters with 1/4” female NPT thread, made from vacuum grade aluminium, to connect components such as vacuum gauges, small valves and NPT connectors with 1/4” male NPT thread.
• EM-Tec KF vacuum flange centering seals which consists of a stainless steel centering ring and a Viton O-ring. They are placed between the KF flanges and seal when the flanges are pushed together by the wing nut clamps.
• EM-Tec KF vacuum flange centering seals with centering ring and Viton O-ring. Available with stainless steel AISI 304 centering ring and aluminium centering ring
• EM-Tec replacement O-rings for worn or damaged centering seals. O-rings are made from NBR (Nitrile) and are slightly softer than the Viton seals to provide a secure seal in vacuum lines. Sold in packages of 10 
• EM-Tec quick release hinged clamps which are placed around the KF vacuum flanges. By turning the wing nut, the hinged clamp closes and seals the O-ring on the KF vacuum flanges. Made from aluminium with stainless steel pins, bolt and wing nut.
• EM-Tec conical reducer with KF40, KF25 and KF16 flanges, made from vacuum grade AISI stainless steel. Useful as adapter flanges between KF16 and KF25 flanges on pumps, vacuum gauges and distribution pieces.
