The Micro-Tec LP50 sample leveling press is designed to level metallographic mounts or irregular shaped polished samples to ensure the sample flatness. This enables examination with upright microscopes, stereo microscopes and digital microscopes without loss of focus. Specimens are pressed onto a metal or glass slide using plasticine or wax. The design with a hand level makes operation easy. Maximum height under the press is 50mm.
